Congolese music, with its multiple dialects of nearly 500 ethnic groups, is a singular richness with regard to the intrinsic quality of its songs and its folk music transmitted orally for centuries. These tribal musics have a diversified instrumentation, varied rhythms, colorful melodies, inspirationand a collection of words. In all, they are an art belonging to social groupings.

CHURCH OF SAINT ANNE OF BRAZZAVILLE

In 1940, Félix Éboué, Governor General of French Equatorial Africa decided the establishment of the church – presbytery – sports stadium complex, at the junction of the plain and Poto-Poto districts. On March 13, 1943, the first groundbreaking took place, the preparation of the ground, Installation of the site and execution of the excavations of the foundations. Félix Éboué and General de Gaulle are enthusiastic. The Sainte-Anne du Congo church, whose construction site is evolving slowly under the supervision of Fathers Nicolas Moysan and Charles Lecomte (1912-1985), is destined to be the « Remembrance sanctuary of Free France». Muhammad V and the Emperor of Ethiopia Haile Selassie I brought their contribution to it.

Brazza's cercopithecus or Brazza's monkey (Cercopithecus neglectus) is a monkey of the Old World which takes its name from the French explorer Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza Known locally as the swamp monkey, they are often found in wetlands in Central Africa. The hunting of females during spawning and catches in fishing nets industrial or artisanal as well as the occasional black marshes impact their population enormously. Rénatura is a Congolese conservation NGO created in 1999 and based in Pointe Noire whose objective is to promote sustainable development through the conservation of biodiversity, specifically through the study and protection of sea turtles in the Congo (patrols, studies, awareness and ecotourism).

The Sangha river in Congo-Brazzaville

The length of its course is 790 km. The Sangha has its source in Cameroon, then crosses the Central African Republic, and the Republic of the Congo.
The river flows in the region of Africa covered by tropical rainforest (Congo Basin forest). The Sangha flows along the edge of the town of Ouésso and is used for the river transport of logs from the exploitations from the Congo Basin to Brazzaville.
